Durga who removes difficulty
The verse praises three-eyed Durga bearing conch, discus, bow and arrows, adorned with bracelets, necklaces, girdle, anklets and jewel earrings. It asks that she remove difficulty.

Golden radiance and the lotus seat
I bow to divine Durga, golden in radiance, crowned with a crescent moon, three-eyed, seated on a golden lotus, dressed in yellow and gracious, bearing conch and discus and granting fearlessness.
