This is the companion page for AI Agent Reliability Engineering: Theory and Practices by Dr. Sri Amit Ray (Compassionate AI Lab, First edition 2026, ISBN 978-81-69641-40-1). It holds the companion laboratory printed in the book: the Python code behind every numbered listing, the tests, the notebook, the expected results and the editable Forms Workbook.

Run it
Python 3.11 or later with the standard library is enough; NumPy is optional and used by one cross-check test.
cd AI_Agent_Reliability_Engineering_Companion_v1.0.0/companion python -m unittest test_reliability test_models
The scripts reproduce the book’s teaching values, for example the propagation campaign in Chapter 18: an estimated spectral radius of 0.5223 and a conservative upper enclosure of 0.5909. Release 1.0.0 includes the corrected spectral-radius routine (radius_bracket returns a guaranteed enclosure and decay_verdict reports decays, grows or inconclusive), the completion audit claim_audit of Chapter 21, and one ordered release-status rule shared by Chapter 6, Appendix B and the code.
